The Vontobel Group establishes a subsidiary in Dubai

The Vontobel Group has established a subsidiary in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). With effect from 31 March 2008, Vontobel Financial Products Ltd. is serving
as an issuing platform for structured products in place of Bank Vontobel Cayman.
"Through our presence in Dubai, we are further optimizing the general conditions for our derivatives and structured products business, simplifying our daily operations and
creating an excellent platform for our further international growth in this area," explained Roger Studer, Head of Investment Banking at Vontobel.
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is an onshore hub which has already proved highly successful as a financial marketplace and a bridge between East Asia and Europe.
