Marco Bacchetta to be new Head of Sales at Vontobel
Marco Bacchetta, 48, will take over as Head of Sales for the Vontobel Group's Brokerage business in August 2010. He has many years' experience of the Swiss equity market,
most recently as a member of the Executive Board and Head of Equity Sales at Neue Zürcher Bank. "In Marco Bacchetta, we have gained a proven, recognized expert in Swiss
equities for this demanding leadership role. I am confident that he will lend additional impetus to Brokerage and that we can build on our leading position in the Swiss
equity brokerage business," said Roger Studer, Head of Investment Banking at the Vontobel Group.
Eugen Brenner, who has in recent years successfully headed the Brokerage departments Sales and Research as well as the External Asset Managers (EAM) business, decided some time
ago to give up part of his management responsibilities. He will continue to bring his extensive specialist knowledge and established network of contacts to bear for the
Vontobel Group's benefit in various areas, including EAM. The Vontobel Group would like to offer him its warmest thanks for his outstanding contribution to the development of
its Investment Banking unit over the past seven years.
