Vontobel appoints Jean-Pierre Stillhart to head Private Banking Switzerland

The new head of Private Banking Switzerland at Vontobel in Zurich will be Jean-Pierre Stillhart. The 46-year-old banker has many years of professional experience in the business with wealthy private clients. He brings an excellent career track record to the position, with earlier posts including that of head of Swiss private clients at the renowned Rothschild private bank, as well as stints at Zürcher Kantonalbank and at UBS.

He has an excellent network in the banking world and is an experienced private banker,” said Georg Schubiger, head of Private Banking at Vontobel. Jean-Pierre Stillhart will start his new position on 1 October 2013. Jean-Pierre Stillhart said: “Vontobel is one of the strongest brands in the Swiss private banking market.
