Senior Sales Assistant Asset Management (80%) - Romandie

Vontobel Asset Management AG further expands its business; we are therefore looking for the Swiss Institutional Sales team in Geneva for a highly motivated and engaged Senior Sales Support. In this function, you will support the Relationship Managers efficiently and independently in day-to-day business. In addition, the following challenges are waiting for you in this function.

Your Challenge

  • Support the Relationship Managers in the management of the customer portfolio and prospects, sales and marketing,
  • Autonomous administrative management of contracts, reports, statistics and presentations. Organization of clients events (prepare: invitations, presentations, required documents) in cooperation with the different internal services and external partners,
  • Monitor the database (update & keep up to date customer and prospects databases),
  • Assist in the setting up of client / prospects meetings (fix appointments, prepare required documents),
  • Independent management of reports sending, mailings,
  • Assist in the preparation, follow-up of the requests for proposals in cooperation with the different internal services,
  • Manage the invoicing process with the billing Dpt.,
  • Assist in the translation and double-check of the translations (German – French, English – French) of various documents
  • Close cooperation with other departments in Zurich,
  • Opening / Handling / Closing accounts
  • Manage all processes, pendings and deadlines,
  • Control and handle internal processes; legal and compliance aspects, client data,
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence,
  • Various administrative tasks: calls, agendas, incoming / outgoing mails, call reports, payments monitoring (invoices, expenses, fees), commissary management, filing / archiving.

 

Your Qualification

  • Previous testified experience in a similar position within the banking industry (min. 15 years)
  • Effective communication skills with an innate ability and strong interest for a high level client service and with a convincing and self-assured appearance,
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage tight timescales,
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times,
  • Team player able to work under pressure,
  • Curious, flexible and positive attitude,
  • Highly motivated, pro-active attitude and structured thinking,
  • Quick understanding and good conceptual, analytical and communicative skills,
  • Excellent IT skills (software tools, MS Office, etc)
  • Excellent writing skills,
  • Fluent in French and English, very good knowledge of German is an asset,
  • Swiss or Swiss resident with valid work permit
