Your Challenge

In a new Marketing & Communication setup, Vontobel’s Corporate Communication team is looking for a passionate Head of Corporate MarTech with a proven track record and fresh ideas in bringing outstanding digital experiences to market – ideally with knowledge in both, the financial services and other industries.

As a member of our team, you will closely collaborate with our content specialists and business partners in order to develop & design new solutions and processes for content distribution & channel / technology management according to our client’s and user’s needs and behaviors. You will be responsible for designing audience targeting within the full range of digital marketing instruments, setting up significant performance KPIs along the whole funnel and managing owned, earned and paid Corporate Communication channels to deliver and process relevant user data.

As the Head of Corporate MarTech, you will:

  • Lead the planning, creation and implementation of fully ranged digital marketing instruments for corporate contents & audiences (Content Marketing, Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Social Advertising, Display Advertising, Emailing Marketing, SEA, SEO, etc.)
  • Closely collaborate with divisional marketing teams to setup a frictionless strategy and experience throughout all stakeholder & client journeys
  • Setup media plans and apply attribution models for Corporate Communication activities in digital media and closely collaborate with the Brand Management department in corporate campaigning
  • Setup data bases for corporate audiences and constantly develop them through qualitative performance & media analytics (Salesforce / Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Social Listening, Keyword Analytics, Media Resonance Analysis, owned research, studies, data, etc.)
  • Define client-centric performance goals and a set of relevant KPIs for digital marketing activities & channels to guarantee strategic reporting and steady optimization of all activities
  • Closely work together with the client experience unit within Brand Management to immerse into the client’s user perspective, whether B2B or B2C, to understand problems, needs and pain points and help to enrich the profiles through collected data and digital insights
  • Setup and develop a client-centric, data integrated and compliant corporate channel & tool infrastructure ensuring consistent designs and user interfaces according to the Vontobel branding strategy and guidelines
  • Develop a panel of experts within the company to exchange knowhow & experiences and to align and support activities and technology within marketing, channel management and analytics with divisional teams
  • Lead a team of currently three digital specialist and collaborate closely with client experience, data and marketing specialists across the entire company

Your Qualification

  • A strong portfolio with online/digital experiences
  • Marketing or Communication degree or equivalent experience plus 5 – 8 years' industry experience in marketing or digital communication with a strong technical affinity
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated breadth across digital marketing, data analytics, digital communication, IT, social media, etc.
  • The ability to scope and estimate efforts accurately, prioritize tasks and goals independently, and rapidly produce deliverables
  • Proficiency in a variety of CMS, CRM, analytics and social tools such as Salesforce, Talkwalker, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Skills with HTML, JavaScript and CSS is a plus
  • Capable of leading digital marketing projects and activities
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to manage workload and achieve results
  • Fluent in German and English, both oral and written
