Investment Controller AM 100%, temporary for 12 months

Within our Risk Control division, we are looking for a Investment Controller Asset Management (AM) in Zurich for a temporary assignment of 12 months (with the option to be extended). You will be part of an experienced and professional team whose responsibilities are ensuring compliance of the disctreionary portfolios with all relevant restrictions and and support various internal stakeholder on related topics and proccesses.

Your opportunity

  • Ensuring ongoing monitoring of discretionary portfolios(investment funds and mandates) in Asset Management
  • Triggering and processing of "exceptions / breaches" in collaboration with front units, management companies or depositary/custodians and Compliance
  • Breach reporting for different stakeholders (management companies, portfolio management boutiques and clients)
  • Participation in project work on system and process improvements
  • Represent Investment Control in internal, group wide projects


You bring

  • Bachelor in Finance & Banking or equivalent or comparable other finance education (e.g. CFA, AZEK, FRM)
  • Experience in Investment Compliance/Control or similar bank control functions and/or Assets Management is of strong advantage
  • Knowledge of financial products as well as about Asset Management standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g. funds, institutional mandates regulation)
  • Knowledge and experience of Portfolio Management systems, especially AMS Allocare or Charles River
  • Programming skills (Access, VBA) and general IT affinity of advantage
  • Excellent written & spoken German and English
