Do you have good programming skills and a passion for the banking business and its processes? Do you want to be acquainted with an innovative Asset Manager? Do you want to learn from a pioneer in the management of risk premia? For Vescore, our Quantitative and model-based investment boutique, we are looking for individuals who enjoy working in a team to develop our investment processes and various evaluations regarding the portfolios and the strategy.
For our team in Munich we are offering an Internship, from 3 to 6 months on a fulltime basis.

Your opportunity

  • Implement and maintain an SQL database for portfolio management data and market data (particularly for Fund selection and ESG data)
  • Develop applications to assure the quality of the database (ingestion process, cross-checks,…) when managing vast amounts of information
  • Setup processes and analytical tools to facilitate automated processes (e.g. reporting)

 

You bring

  • On the way to a master’s degree or similar in business or technical field
  • Programming experience in general purpose languages (C/C++/C# and R/Python) and modern design patterns, solid SQL-skills, proficient in Excel, experience in MATLAB/R/Octave/VBA a plus
  • Interest for the banking or asset management industry, its processes, workflows and regulations
  • Good understanding of global capital markets and investment instruments is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
