IT Location Manager

As IT Location Manager, you will be an expert professional for helping build, run and change the IT infrastructure of our international locations within a high performing team.

Your opportunity

    • Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects internationally. Build up new locations and hand them over to IT Operations, as well as organize moves and decommissioning of existing locations
    • Act as interface between business demand and technical delivery departments within the bank
    • Responsible for documenting all IT aspects of a location including local contacts and ensure Know-How transfer towards IT Operations (Support & Engineering)
    • Coordinate and help design technical infrastructure details on site
    • Create and deliver input for valuable decision papers like business cases or cost estimates as basis for projects and budget planning
    • Responsible for cost controlling of location projects
    • Organization, coordination and documentation of project meetings
    • Execution of support tasks for projects and as sparring partner for the Head of IT Locations

     

    Your qualifications

    • Master's degree in IT, Business IT or similar
    • At least 3 years relevant practical experience, financial sector is a plus
    • Acquainted with complex IT architectures
    • Good IT knowledge and experienced in managing local installations like Workplaces, Videoconferencing, Printers, Networking etc.
    • Hands-on mentality paired with the confidence to work self-reliant
    • Practical experience in managing international projects, project management certificate is a plus
    • Strong communication skills, very good negotiation skills in English and German - French is a plus
    • Pro-active attitude, client oriented, team player
    • Inquisitive personality with high self-motivation and drive for personal development
    • International travel up to 30%
    • Flexibility to elaborate new subjects
