Your opportunity

  • Strengthen the Employer brand of Vontobel internally and externally and deliver a unique Vontobel experience for employees and future employees
  • Develop and implement an ambitious, holistic and global internal communication strategy for One Vontobel with strong focus on employee and leadership communications, in close collaboration with the Marketing, HR and Corporate Development teams
  • Own and further develop Vontobel’s internal communication channels and social media, manage digital initiatives and drive the evolution of new communication formats
  • Screen and survey social media standards to ensure we are adopting best practices and participate to alignment with B2B and B2C social media activities
  • Jointly with the Talent acquisition team, develop and manage recruitment campaigns using an assortment of media
  • Develop and execute new communication opportunities to foster employees’ engagement, encouraging two way communication
  • Be responsible for updating the internal communication guidelines and the editorial planning for internal communications
  • Establish a writing school, promote new editorial talent. coordinate and train our pool of intranet editors, empower our leaders to be good communicators
  • Develop and execute communication concepts for specific projects and events
  • Lead and inspire a high performing communication team of two persons with fresh ideas


You bring

•      University degree or equivalent with further education in communications in Switzerland and abroad

•      10+ years professional experience in communications or journalism, or employer branding

•      Experience in the financial industry and international experience

•      Strong people management

•      Project management skills

•      Successful experience in leveraging social media channels and tools, and on top of trends

•      Experience in concept development coupled with excellent strategic awareness

•      Excellent communication style and turn of phrase with journalistic flair

•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
