Working Student - AM Global Sales RFP Team

Do you enjoy winning new business? Would you like to learn about active investment strategies as well as the needs of wholesale and institutional clients?

The Request for Proposal (RFP) team plays a key role in supporting the AM Global Sales and Portfolio Management teams to acquire new business and retain existing clients by completing Request for Proposals and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). In this role, you will initially work under close supervision of senior team members to learn the basics, and then quickly take full ownership of tasks as soon as you are able. By working in this role you will gain a wide range of skills as well as a deep understanding of how an asset management firm runs, offering the ideal springboard into a full time role in the industry.

Your opportunity

  • Support senior RFP team members within AM Global Sales to respond to RFP and DDQ request
  • Periodically update and maintain investment consultant databases such as evestment, GIMD
  • Create/edit sales and marketing collateral
  • Maintain the Q&A database and internal tools
  • Source information from subject matter experts
  • Respond to client request and coordinate answers with subject matter experts across the company


You bring

  • First working experience in the financial services industry – ideally within Asset Management
  • Proven client service and interpersonal skills
  • Organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • The ability to manage and manipulate data efficiently using a variety of tools
  • English and German business fluent, other languages advantageous

You are

  • In a Bachelor or Master’s program and you have an excellent academic record
  • Seeking an exciting medium to long-term opportunity in a 60%-80% capacity in an international work environment while studying
  • A structured, detail-oriented and a reliable team player able to succeed and persevere in a fast-paced, deadline-driven multi-tasking environment
  • Solutions-driven and have a can-do attitude
  • Numerate with strong proofreading skills
  • Data savvy, well-versed in the Microsoft Office package and have some coding experience (desirable)
