Your opportunity

As Structured Solutions Technology Engineer, you will…

  • Rotate within the modules ‘Financial Engineering’, ‘Market Making Systems’, ‘Portfolio Management Systems’, ‘Quant Group’

  • Be part of the full front-to back experience when it comes to the generation trading, and risk management of financial markets instruments. This involves a manifold of state-of-the-art software concepts and solutions

  • Have the chance to optionally obtain a Front Arena support certification or even attend a relevant conference such as Devops FUSION

  • Start on October 1, 2021 and conclude the program September 30, 2023 (24 months)

  • After the completion of your program, we can see you enter various openings, such as Trading System Engineer, Software Engineer (Structured Solutions), Data Engineer, Quantitative Analyst/Developer

Structured Solutions, with its numerous locations worldwide, provides its clients advice on financial investments. We focus on the engineering and distribution of these structured products. This contains the pricing, issuing, trading, market-making and the life cycle management.

Your team is located close to our trading floor, at Bleicherweg 21, Zurich. You will be working within our Derivatives Infrastructure & Financial Engineering team and will be part of the Business Unit ‘Structured Solutions’. You will participate in developing and operating the underlying technology platform globally.

 

Your background includes..

  • A Masters degree (university or university of applied sciences), you are eligible with up to a maximum of 24 months of work experience after your Masters

  • A study background in IT, business IT, data science, mathematics, physics or comparable

  • Hands-on programming experience (C#, .NET, Python)

  • Ideally web and mobile app development skills

  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel

You are

  • Excited about financial markets and financial products

  • A person with a strong analytical and structured mindset

  • A team player, able to work under pressure

  • A pro-active person

  • Willing to complete additional training courses

  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)

  • Authorized to work in the EU or Switzerland, we welcome candidates with an international background
