Are you the right person to lead the development of Vontobel Asset Management in the Intermediary Segment in the French-speaking part of Switzerland?

Supporting investors in Romandie is critically important to our strategy. As Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with our intermediary clients and prospects in the region, travelling from our offices in Geneva. You will bring us even closer to these clients and offer the investment solutions and support they expect. Your deep local knowledge, relationships and entrepreneurial spirit will enable us to accelerate growth and reinforce our position as one of the leading asset managers in Switzerland and the Romandie region.

Your opportunity

  • Develop and implement our client-focused strategy in Romandie, working closely with and reporting into the Head of Intermediary Distribution Switzerland.
  • Develop existing intermediary business and win new partnerships to build the volume of assets that clients entrust to us
    • Build fund advocacy from key advisory and discretionary gate keepers.
    • In coordination with the Vontobel Global Banks team, bring us closer to the Global Banks located in Geneva.
  • Nurture and develop the relationship with our partners Raiffeisen and Vontobel Wealth Management.
  • Work with Marketing and Investment Communications teams to deliver roadshows, seminars, presentations and press coverage to raise awareness for Vontobel Asset Management.
  • Share local market requirements and product development needs with our Portfolio Managers, Products and other teams to remove barriers to developing new relationships and achieving client satisfaction.


You bring

  • A proven track-record of client growth within Romandie.
  • An excellent network and trusted relationships with decision makers in global banks, private banks and other intermediaries such as EAMs and family offices located in French-speaking Switzerland.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, with at least five years of experience working in or selling investment management products to intermediary clients.
  • Strong product knowledge across asset classes.
  • Native French, professional-level English, with German as a plus.
