Client Management Specialist

As a multi-boutique we focus on Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset Class, and Alternative Investing, actively managing over CHF 125bn of assets on behalf institutional and intermediary clients globally.

With roots and track records going back to 1990, the Swiss Institutional clients represent with CHF 24bn of assets under management the biggest client segment of Vontobel Asset Management. While the business grew significantly over the past years, we still see a lot of additional potential in the Swiss Institutional market thanks to an enlarged product offering, excellent track records and our very solid market reputation as a performance driven active asset manager. To support further growth, we are searching for a Zurich-based Client Management Specialist to support the Head of institutional clients Switzerland and the entire team.

Your opportunity

This is an entrepreneurial role with significant scope to create value. A genuine passion for organizational and structural work is essential as well as the desire to work within a team.

  • Support the preparation of business plans, including acquisition strategy, marketing plan and management communication

  • Leverage our Market Intelligence team’s research to analyze competition, market trends and progress

  • Monitor of sales activities, sales plans, client segmentation

  • Contribute to planning roadshows and marketing campaigns in alignment with the marketing team

  • Organize team meetings

  • Support Relationship Managers in the daily business

  • Liaise with support departments


You bring

  • Bachelor degree in business, economics or finance or an advanced commercial education

  • Knowledge of the Swiss institutional business market including pension funds, corporates and insurance companies preferred

  • Ability to quickly adopt to new situations

  • Knowledge of Salesforce (CRM-System) is a big plus

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and commercial mindset

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • German (or Swiss German) native language and excellent English (verbal and written). French language skills an advantage

  • High personal integrity
