Expansion of Financial Products business – Thomas Süssli named as the new Head Vontobel Financial Products in Singapore

 

Thomas Süssli is to take over the management of Vontobel Financial Products (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore with effect from 1 October 2014. In addition, Eugene Lee will assume responsibility for product sales in this area. Both appointments underscore Vontobel’s commitment to expanding and further strengthening its activities in Singapore.

 

Thomas Süssli was most recently employed by Credit Suisse in the External Asset Managers (EAM) business and has extensive experience in the structuring, settlement and sale of structured products. His appointment reflects the latest success of Vontobel’s business in Singapore and highlights the bank’s desire to continue developing its market presence in Asia.

 

In addition, Eugene Lee will assume the function of Head Sales Financial Products APAC with responsibility for the local sales activities of Financial Products as well as for deritrade® MIP – the multi issuer platform for structured products – with effect from 1 September 2014. Lee has many years of experience in the creation of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and structured products and in the corresponding area of sales, including in his previous functions at JP Morgan, HSBC and BBVA, where he was responsible for the Private Banks and Retail Investors client segments in Asia.
