Vontobel expands its fixed income expertise with two senior hires

 

Vontobel Asset Management has appointed David Walls and Stefan Hüsler to the firm’s high yield and credit investment team. They will play a key role in strengthening Vontobel's CHF 9 billion fixed income boutique in the area of credit research.

 

David Walls has been appointed as credit analyst and deputy portfolio manager for the Vontobel Fund - High Yield Bond. David has over 15 years of investment experience and brings proven expertise in managing a wide range of fixed income portfolios. Most recently he was a high yield credit consultant at Waddell & Reed in Dallas, Texas. Prior he was co-founder and principal at Three Seas Capital as well as partner and portfolio manager at Highland Capital Management. Stefan Hüsler has been appointed as a credit analyst covering capital goods, basic industry and financial services. He joins having previously held positions at UBS, Pemba Credit Advisors and Man Investments.
