Vontobel riceve un’ottima valutazione per i «Principi per l'investimento responsabile»

Quest'anno l'iniziativa delle Nazioni Unite «Principi per l'investimento responsabile» (PRI), che conta la partecipazione di 1‘961 firmatari in tutto il mondo, provenienti soprattutto dal settore finanziario, ha premiato Vontobel con un risultato oltre la media per le sue strategie d'investimento sostenibili. Dal 2010 Vontobel fa parte dei firmatari dell'iniziativa. Nel reporting del 2018 Vontobel si colloca al di sopra del benchmark in sei su sette dei moduli valutati.
«Il risultato PRI ben al di sopra della media conferma le nostre competenze in tema di investimento sostenibile, che Vontobel ha strutturato e ampliato costantemente dagli anni '90. La buona valutazione è tanto più determinante in quanto i «Principi per l'investimento responsabile» hanno acquisito un'importanza sostanziale per i mandati degli asset manager. I clienti chiedono sempre più spesso informazioni specifiche sul rating PRI», afferma Axel Schwarzer, Head Vontobel Asset Management.
Il risultato PRI valuta i firmatari relativamente all'implementazione dei sei «Principi per l'investimento responsabile»:
- Integrare le tematiche ESG nell’analisi e nei processi decisionali riguardanti gli investimenti.
- Essere azionisti attivi e incorporare le tematiche ESG nelle nostre politiche e nelle nostre pratiche di azionariato attivo.
- Chiedere un’adeguata comunicazione relativamente alle tematiche ESG da parte degli enti nei quali investiamo.
- Promuovere l’accettazione e l’applicazione dei Principi nel settore finanziario.
- Collaborare per migliorare la nostra efficacia nell’applicazione dei principi.
- Comunicare le nostre attività e i progressi compiuti nell’applicazione dei principi.
