Zürich / Gotthardstrasse 44We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to focus on the Swiss and European markets. Someone who can help shape the future of compliance in a dynamic, cross-border environment.
Our Legal and Compliance team is made up of experienced professionals from diverse international backgrounds, with dedicated specialists supporting each business division.
Based in Zurich or Geneva, you’ll join the Private Clients Compliance Lifecycle Team, working with clients across Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This is a high-impact role with exposure to complex compliance issues and senior-level decision-making.
As part of the second line of defense, you’ll collaborate closely with the business to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and regulatory compliance—all within a professional environment that supports your development and values your voice.
What would your role be?
Conduct daily compliance assessments for client onboardings, focusing on Swiss, European, Middle Eastern, and Asian markets, and contribute to senior management decisions on higher-risk cases.
Perform regular compliance assessments and periodic reviews, including PEP and sanctions-related analyses, in close collaboration with subject matter experts.
Monitor ex-ante transactions.
Provide advisory support to stakeholders across both lines of defense.
Handle regulatory-based actions, reporting, and responses.
Deliver training on compliance topics to the first line of defense.
What are we looking for?
A robust, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to risk management.
Strong knowledge of core compliance topics and their practical application.
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, preferably handling higher-risk clients in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East, or Asia.
Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic skills, particularly in working with business functions.
A track record of supporting business functions in sustainable long-term growth while managing the risks of sensitive client relationships.
A collaborative team player who is results-driven and solution-oriented.
A trusted and reliable business partner with high personal and professional integrity.
Influential communication with cross-cultural awareness.
An independent and precise worker who thrives in a decentralized role in Geneva, engaging daily with business functions, compliance stakeholders, and managers.
Fluency in English and French (mandatory); Arabic or German is an advantage.
