Working Student Emerging Markets Fixed Income (40-60%)

As a working student, you will initially work under the close guidance of senior team members to learn the ropes, quickly progressing to take ownership of key tasks as you grow in confidence and competence.
This role offers a rich learning experience, equipping you with a deep understanding of the front office of an investment management firm and paving the way for a full-time role in the industry.
What would your role be?
As a working student, you will:
- Gain front office portfolio management experience in the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team
- Contribute to the development of technology and analytical tools that support investment decisions and portfolio analysis
- Provide data, insights and analytics across different areas of the investment universe to support Analysts and Portfolio Managers
- Generate content for fund presentations, reporting and marketing initiatives
- Deepen your understanding of financial markets and emerging markets fixed income
What are we looking for?
- Mindset: Genuine interest in financial markets/fixed income/emerging markets, eager to learn and add value, independent work ethic
- Academic background: Enrolled Master student , preferably with focus on finance and/or economics).
- Work experience: First experiences via internships in (investment) banking or asset management, professional exposure to financial markets are preferred.
- Strong IT skills: Solid knowledge of mainstream office applications like Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with the Bloomberg Terminal and coding skills are a plus (Python, R, SQL).
- Team spirit: A collaborative approach and the ability to quickly take ownership of tasks.
- Languages: Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Important to know: you need to hold a valid work permit for the location you are applying for.
