As a valued member of our Operation Services department, you will join a team of five experienced colleagues, dedicated to providing essential regulatory reporting and operational tax services to our clients. Together, we deliver high-quality reporting and tax services and support internal and external stakeholders with thorough and insightful service.

What would your role be?

  • Qualified Intermediary (QI) & 871(m) Reporting: Oversee the planning, support, and coordination of the annual Qualified Intermediary (QI) and Qualified Securities Dealer (QDD) 871(m) reporting and compliance, including delivering WHT to IRS and conducting data reconciliations. Serving as the point of contact for inquiries from all business areas of the bank in connection with these, and related operational US Tax topics.
  • AEOI & FATCA & CARF Reporting: Assisting in handling the annual reporting for AEOI/CRS/CARF and FATCA, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
  • Withholding & Transaction Tax Management: Opportunity to take on or support additional topics in further operational tax areas as financial transaction taxes (e.g. Spain/Italy/France transaction tax) or Swiss and foreign withholding taxes.
  • Regulatory Transaction Reporting: Opportunity to explore and support additional topics related to Regulatory Reporting, specifically in the areas of EMIR, MiFID II and FinfraG.
  • Department Representation & Process Optimization: Act as a knowledgeable and reliable representative of the department in bank-wide projects and process enhancement initiatives related to regulatory tax topics.
  • Process & Service Development: Drive the continuous improvement of existing processes and services, collaborating closely with IT colleagues within the team, to continuously improve and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in banking & finance or similar with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least two years of experience in one of the mentioned tax topics above is a must.
  • A proactive and independent approach to work, with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality, accurate work, a reliable work ethic, and a “can-do” mindset.
  • A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
