Institutional Sales Associate
Zürich / Genferstrasse 27Join our Swiss Institutional Clients team, which is in charge for acquiring new institutional business and servicing existing clients and has a great reputation in the Swiss institutional market.
As an Institutional Sales Associate, you will initially support senior team members to learn the ropes, progressing to take ownership of key tasks as you grow in confidence and competence over 3 years.
This role offers a rich learning experience, equipping you with a deep understanding of the responsibilities of a client relationship manager and paving the way for a full-time junior relationship management role.
What would your role be?
- Assist senior team members within Swiss Institutional Clients in responding to requests, prepare analysis, documents and meetings.
- Support senior team members with CRM and relevant systems.
- Contribute actively to the team’s development in terms of use of technology, content and marketing formats and new communication channels.
- In a second step, link the team members with one Vontobel investment boutique and become the team’s content expert for this asset class.
- In a final step, join client events, meetings and pitches to learn the relationship management role.
What are we looking for?
- You gained your first working experience in the financial services industry, ideally within Investment Management, with proven client service skills and data management abilities.
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an excellent academic record, seeking a medium to long-term opportunity in an international work environment.
- You are a structured, pro-active team player with a strong work ethic, able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- You are solutions-driven with a can-do attitude, numerate, and posessing strong coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Data savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and business fluency in German and English.
