Change in the Board of Directors of Vontobel Holding AG with effect from 23 April 2013

 

Prof. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner, a member of the Board of Directors of Vontobel Holding AG and Bank Vontobel AG, will not stand for re-election at the General Meeting of Shareholders of 23 April 2013 for family reasons. Further information regarding the election of a successor will be provided as part of the usual notification sent to shareholders prior to the General Meeting of 23 April 2013.

 

Ann-Kristin Achleitner was elected to the Board of Directors of Vontobel Holding AG and Bank Vontobel AG by the General Meeting of Shareholders in 2009. With her proven financial expertise and specialist knowhow, she has provided excellent support to the Vontobel Group in its activities for around four years. "I have decided not to stand for re-election in April 2013 for family reasons. I will, however, always remain a friend of the Vontobel Group. Until my term in office expires, I will, of course, continue to perform my mandate with the utmost commitment," stated Achleitner as she explained the reasons for this step. "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Ann-Kristin Achleitner for her exceptional service to Vontobel," stated Herbert J. Scheidt, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in recognition of her contribution to the company.
