Vontobel Asset Management has named Hervé Hanoune as Head of its Fixed Income boutique and a member of its Management Committee. The 42-year-old French national was previously with Amundi Asset Management in London, where he headed the company’s Global Aggregate Bond team and successfully managed about CHF 3.8 billion in assets.
Hervé Hanoune brings to Vontobel over 20 years of investment and management experience. For the past six years, he was head of Global Aggregate bond management at Amundi Asset Management, and managed the Bond Global Aggregate fund, one of the best flexible global bond funds in the market according to Morningstar rankings. Prior to that, he held various positions as a senior fixed income portfolio manager at Credit Agricole in London and Singapore.
"Hervé Hanoune will help us further strengthen our Fixed Income boutique’s offering for the benefit of our clients. His track record, fundamental research skills and proven leadership qualities make him a perfect fit to lead our fixed income investment team.", comments Axel Schwarzer, Head of Vontobel Asset Management.
Vontobel's CHF 10 billion Fixed Income boutique focuses on three product lines: Global Bonds, Credit and Emerging Markets. The boutique’s 14 investment professionals have an average of 15 years of experience each and are split into teams focusing on each product line. While our bond experts share the belief that fundamental research, independent thinking and disciplined portfolio management are the key to consistent outperformance, each team has its own dedicated investment process in place.
