Published on 08.09.2017 CEST
Bank Vontobel Europe AG has hired Dr. Joachim Storck and five other proven and experienced relationship managers for its Private Banking location in Munich. The new team started work on 1 April 2014. Dr. Joachim Storck is the new branch office manager in Munich, taking over operational responsibility from Alois Ebner, who will in future be concentrating on advising selected clients and handling strategic tasks within Bank Vontobel Europe AG. The hiring of this team underscores Vontobel’s commitment to the strategically important market of Germany, and bolsters its existing expertise in Private Banking.
Dr. Joachim Storck (52) has a wealth of specialist expertise, with many years’ experience in relationship management and client acquisitions. Having previously held positions at Dresdner Bank and Commerzbank (Deutschland) AG, he was latterly a member of the Executive Committee Private Banking of Credit Suisse Deutschland AG, where he was responsible for the Southern Germany region. Together with his team comprising five senior relationship managers and an investment advisor, Dr. Stork will further cultivate and expand the onshore HNWI segment.
Alois Ebner, who has successfully built, developed and led the Munich branch office for the past twelve years, is handing over the operational management of the branch to Dr. Storck and will concentrate on advising selected clients. Bank Vontobel Europe AG will also be able to call on Alois Ebner and his extensive expertise and knowledge of the industry in future.
"The new additions in Munich will ideally enhance the expertise already in place. This move underlines our commitment to the German market and our efforts to further strengthen and expand our presence in the onshore Private Banking segment," said Georg Schubiger, Head of Vontobel Private Banking, commenting on the hiring of the Munich team.
