Jens Korte is a business journalist and US expert based in New York. Having moved to New York during Bill Clinton’s presidency in the late 1990s, he has since reported directly from Wall Street for media outlets including SRF TV and Radio, NZZ, ntv, Die Zeit, Deutsche Welle, and the Austrian Börsen-Kurier. He is also a visiting professor at the Private University of Applied Sciences in Bern and serves on the board of the German International School New York.

Chief Investment Allocation Officer, Vontobel

Christoph Boner has served as Chief Investment Allocation Officer at Vontobel since January 2025. In this role, he is responsible for the overall asset allocation of Vontobel’s Private Clients business. Before joining Vontobel, he was Chief Investment Officer at IHAG Private Bank, where he was responsible for the investment process, investment communications, and the advisory and discretionary investment businesses. He began his career as a quantitative analyst at Julius Baer and subsequently held positions as a fixed income manager, Head of Investment Management, and Chief Investment Officer at VP Bank Group. Christoph Boner holds a master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and has successfully completed the CFA, FRM, CAIA, and CESGA examinations. He is currently working towards the Certified Crypto Finance Expert (CCFE) qualification.
