Prof. Dr. Stephan Bierling

Head of International Relations - University of Regensburg Stephan Bierling is a German political scientist. He has been Professor of International Politics at the University of Regensburg since 2000 and heads the Chair of International Politics and Transatlantic Relations. Prior to this, he spent time teaching and researching in the US, South Africa and Israel.

Matthew Benkendorf

Chief Investment Officer Quality Growth, Portfolio Manager, Vontobel Matthew Benkendorf joined Vontobel in 1999. Since March 2016, he is Chief Investment Officer Quality Growth. He was co-architect of the investment philosophy and style defining Quality Growth and was instrumental in developing the investment approach across these strategies. He became Portfolio Manager in 2006, responsible for the European Equity strategy and two years later for the Global Equity, US Equity, International Equity, and Emerging Markets Equity strategies. Previously, he was a Research Analyst since 2002, and before that a Trader. Matthew received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Denver in Colorado.

Dan Scott

Chief Investment Officer, Head of Multi Asset - Vontobel Asset Management Dan Scott joined Vontobel in 2017 and is Head of Vontobel Multi Asset, serving both institutional and wealth management clients. Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked for many years at Credit Suisse as the deputy Head of Equity Research and as a Swiss equity specialist at Kepler. He began his career as a journalist in the late 1990s, first at Dow Jones & Company as a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and DJ Newswires, and later as an on-air correspondent for CNBC. Dan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Basel, where he wrote his thesis on European integration and its impact on European sovereign debt markets.
