Process & Quality Specialist (PQS)
Zürich / Splügenstrasse 5For our legal entity Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers (Vontobel SFA), a US licensed Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), we are looking for a Process & Quality Specialist (PQS) who will act as a key partner to support Desk Heads, Relationship Managers and Assistants in delivering exceptional service to our US clients.
What would your role be?
Work with Relationship Managers and Client Associates as an expert on onboarding and supporting US clients throughout their lifecycle.
Act as a liaison between Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Client Coverage functions to resolve complex client scenarios (e.g., Companies, Trusts, Foundations, Offshore entities).
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Review and approve account opening documentation and KYC.
Manage and coordinate the overall client onboarding lifecycle ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process and between stakeholders.
Act as a point-of-entry and sparring partner for queries about regulations, processes, tools and risk.
Conduct pre-checks, support remediation of alerts and deficiencies (e.g., KYC, Risk Reports), and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What are we looking for?
A natural problem solver with a strong ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
Expertise in wealth management, with a focus on account opening processes and KYC requirements for individuals and complex structures (e.g., Companies, Trusts, Foundations, Offshore entities).
Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with the US financial market and corporate structures.
Ability to work independently and proactively, with a fast-learning mindset and high motivation to excel in a demanding environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to tailor your style to the audience.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Experience with Salesforce or Avaloq (preferred but not mandatory).
