You will shape and deliver Vontobel’s One Data Platform – the foundation for analytics, reporting and AI across the entire bank. This means combining data expertise with banking know-how, aligning teams, and ensuring every initiative creates measurable business value.

You will shape and deliver Vontobel’s One Data Platform – the foundation for analytics, reporting and AI across the entire bank. This means combining data expertise with banking know-how, aligning teams, and ensuring every initiative creates measurable business value.
What would your role be?
- Drive the strategy and execution of an enterprise-wide data platform – from catalog and streaming to modelling and reporting.
- Translate banking and finance requirements (controlling, risk, investment management) into concrete data solutions.
- Apply Data Mesh, Data Vault, and governance principles to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
- Coordinate engineering, business and governance teams to ensure alignment and impact.
- Lead complex delivery initiatives with structure, pragmatism and resilience – always with value as the compass.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in data-driven initiatives in financial services – you understand banking processes and their data needs.
- Strong knowledge of data theory and practice: Data Mesh, Data Vault, data streaming, governance, cloud-based platforms.
- A track record in program/project leadership in complex, regulated environments.
- Excellent ability to align business stakeholders and tech teams around one vision.
- Educational background: Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics or related fields; a combined Data & Finance profile is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder confidence and a collaborative mindset.
