Are you curious about how a bank really works behind the scenes? Do you want to take responsibility early on and contribute to topics that truly matter?

As a Working Student you will gain hands-on exposure to the backbone of our bank. From day one, you will be involved in real tasks and projects that ensure stable operations, secure IT processes and sound governance. This role offers you the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice, develop a deep understanding of regulatory and operational topics, and take ownership of your work in a professional banking environment. Your ideas and contributions will count – and you will see the impact of what you do.

What would be your role?

  • Support IT & operations and governance processes, helping to ensure stable, secure and compliant banking operations while exceeding quality and reliability expectations.

  • Contribute to regulatory, risk and governance-related activities (e.g. documentation, controls, policies, reporting), supporting the bank in achieving regulatory and operational excellence.

  • Participate in IT and operational projects, from process improvements to system enhancements, bringing ideas to life and actively shaping practical solutions.

  • Analyze processes, data and controls, identify improvement opportunities and help implement measures to increase efficiency, transparency and resilience.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, gaining insight into outsourcing, vendor management and cross-functional cooperation.

  • Support day-to-day operations and incident handling, helping the team achieve smooth business continuity and effective problem resolution.

  • Prepare presentations, reports and decision materials for management and committees, ensuring clarity, structure and impact.

What are we looking for?

  • You are currently enrolled in a university program, for example in business administration, economics, information systems, computer science or a comparable field

  • A strong interest in how banking operations, information technology and governance work together in practice

  • First practical experience from internships, student roles or projects is a plus, but not a must

  • A structured and reliable way of working, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Very good written and spoken English; German is an advantage

  • A team player who values trust, openness and collaboration, and contributes positively to the team spirit

What do we offer?

  • Top Munich location with plenty of room for collaboration

  • Friendly and diverse team with at least one person ready to listen to your concerns

  • Flat hierarchy with collaboration at all levels

  • Latest technology to help you improve and advance

  • Agile environment in how we think, the way we work and our trust for each other.
