An opportunity has arisen within TwentyFour Asset Management, an award winning fixed income boutique of the Swiss based Vontobel Group to join our Sales team.


The successful candidate will have at least seven years of asset management sales experience, supported by a CFA or equivalent qualification, with a strong background in private markets being essential. They will possess deep knowledge of the family office, endowment & foundation, and/or insurance client segments, and demonstrate a proven record of cultivating long-term relationships and raising significant AUM in the private markets space. The candidate should bring an established network within the insurance or family office communities, along with a highly consultative approach, therefore being capable of understanding complex technical client objectives and delivering tailored solutions.

The Role

Joining our sales team, you will hold a pivotal position in driving our ongoing growth with wealth managers, pension funds, insurers, and family offices.

The primary focus of this role will be the development and execution of direct sales opportunities.  The successful candidate will also however be able to contribute to client service activities and engage with investment consultants where appropriate.

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Define business strategy (market segmentation, target clients, growth plan)
  • Analyse peer group developments and trends in alternative investing
  • Prioritise products for sales planning and provide input into product development

Sales

  • Manage the structured sales process for lead generation, including follow up and conversion
  • Systematically acquire clients and progress client onboarding
  • Ongoing client relationship management
  • Demonstrate in depth knowledge about TwentyFour’s investment strategies / funds, portfolio positioning and the portfolio managers' investment views
  • Ensure competitive and consistent positioning of TwentyFour and our products
  • Oversee RFP and tender processes to ensure client requirements are optimally covered (in collaboration with dedicated support teams)

Marketing Coordination

  • Plan regional roadshows, marketing campaigns and investment conference participation in alignment with overall marketing plan
  • Strengthen TwentyFour’s brand in the UK market
  • Optimise all marketing materials (brochures, presentations, etc.)

What are we looking for?

Necessary experience/background

  • Sales and Relationship Manager with at least 7 years of asset management sales experience, with the focus critically on private markets.
  • CFA designation or progress toward CFA preferred.
  • Deep expertise in private markets products and strategies high desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the family office, endowments & foundations, and/or insurance client segments.
  • Established network within family office / E&F segments and/or insurance clients
  • Demonstrated success in developing long-term client relationships and raising substantial AUM within private markets.
  • Consultative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to translate client technical needs and objectives into tailored offerings within TwentyFour, with awareness of Vontobel products.
